Electronic Stethoscope (Model-ARTEX-BEAT-CL)
The Electronic Stethoscope Model ARTEX-BEAT C (Contact type) is designed for the EOD field where it is necessary to detect mechanical clockworks fuses in objects suspected to contain explosives, e.g. letters or packages or “lost property”. It is also used in the fields where weak sound waves have to be detected.
The operation principle is simple. It is based on the amplification and selection of sound waves which are transformed into an electric voltage by means of a sensitive impact sound microphone. This voltage is fed to an adjustable amplifier with variable arrangement of filters, which supresses interference from ambient noise within certain limits. Since the Amplitude (Volume) and the Frequency (Pitch) are infinitely variable, the audiable signals can be adjusted to suit each requirements.

The appliance is very easy to operate. The control elements are shock proof and located on the front panel of the control unit. They consist solely of the ON/OFF operating switch and the one variable adjusters for amplifications and frequency.

The ARTEX-BEAT-C(Contact type) Electronic Stethoscope is of a very sturdy design fitted with splash water protection. The electronic casing can either be carried on a belt or by a shoulder strap. The headphones are of military design and equipped with well padded ear pieces to supress ambient noise.
The ARTEX-BEAT-CL (Contactless type) with an extra search head for contactless detection of mechanical and electronic fuses, Electronic Circuits, Quartz Watches. This system works on high frequency and penetrates solid material like small bricks work, paper, plastic wood and similar dielectric packing material. The advantage of this method is that it cannot be influenced by accoustic interference. It can be applied for scanning rooms, Cars, etc. even in loud surroundings.
